Hello Ontbirders, It has been quite a week at Long Point Bird Observatory, capped off by a Green-tailed Towhee! To read more about this great new bird for Long Point, and the rest of the week's bird activities check out the LPBO sighting's board, which is updated every Friday: http://www.bsc-eoc.org/longpoint/index.jsp?targetpg=lpbosight
Good Birding, Mike Burrell [email protected] Long Point Bird Observatory's Old Cut Field Station is open to the public daily with bird banding demonstrations from sunrise until noon and for four hours after dusk for owl banding (weather permitting) until approximately November 15. To get there take Hwy 59 onto Long Point and turn left onto Old Cut Blvd. The field station is on the right and is marked with a sign.
