After I read the report of the Green-Tailed Towhee sighting I checked photos of the bird on the Internet and I'm absolutely sure that I had puzzled over one at East Humber Bay in Etobicoke around 3 weeks ago. I thought it might've been a colour variant of a White-Throated Sparrow. It was behaving like a WTS on the ground in the shrubs.

I'm not looking for credit for the sighting, but it must be of interest.
