Birding was overall rather quiet today in the Rondeau birding area. The weather was TOO nice!

The WILSON'S PHALAROPE was still at Blenheim Lagoons enjoying the company of other shorebirds in Pond 5. (another 2.5 weeks to go for the winter list!). Record late by three weeks. Other shorebirds included Baird's Sandpiper (1), Pectoral Sandpiper (2), White-rumped Sandpiper (3), Dunlin (~50), Killdeer (2).

After my post last Sunday, a female Black-throated Blue Warbler was photographed in Rondeau Park. Record late by 5 days.

A hummingbird (likely Ruby-throated) was seen in Erie Beach today. Record late by a couple of weeks. Not positively identified yet!
