Hi All,

The feeders have been active for some time now. Large flocks of Evening Grosbeaks and Pine Grosbeaks; Blue Jays have not decreased in numbers yet. More and more appearances of Hairy and Downy woodpeckers in the last week. Huge flocks of snowbuntings are everywhere.... large numbers of black capped chickadees and I have a couple of red breasted nuthatches.

Interesting is the fact that there are many sightings of bald eagles all along highways 560 and 65 from Gowganda , Elk Lake and New Liskeard.

We finally have a skiff of snow on the ground.

Cheers from my neck of the woods to your,
Gert
