Greetings from the land of snow!!!!!
Common Redpolls were on the road today not far from my home, however they still haven't found the feeders and I have many of different types..covering a huge area.

Blue Jays are still increasing in numbers and at one point today there were so many in the sky and in the trees that I couldn't count them correctly for all the flying back and forth.
I was throwing peanuts out and that caused the frenzy

I had a visit from a sparrow very close to dark. I tried to get a picture while my husband held a flashlight but it didn't turn out very well.( it was at that time of dusk where lights don't help much!!) It was too close for binoculars...and too far for my poor eyes! It was on the ground in the snow and I just couldn't make it out in the poor light. I sent it to a friend and maybe he can help me with a positive ID. But is did add bit of excitement....maybe tomorrow morning?

Be well,

Gert Trudel
