While the cells of the West Perth Wetlands in Mitchell are mostly ice-covered
there was enough room yesterday for some of the species reported in other
places to be present. The newly fenced cell contained a Wilson's Phalarope. In
the southern cell cell a single Sandhill Crane presented itself. Two Harriers
flew over.
