Hello everyone

On Saturday Peter BonEnfant and I birded the Niagara River. At Adam Beck we saw
3 Lesser Black-backed Gulls and 1 juvenile IceLand Gull. At the Whirlpool we
located a Common Loon.

Along the river above the falls we had several groups of Tundra Swans - about
74 birds in total.

Earlier in the day we had a Cackling Goose in Fort Erie, but the most amazing
part of the day was the 30,000+ Bonapartes Gulls in Fort Erie at Nichols
Marina. Two of the gulls still retained most of their hoods. As of 5:00 pm the
gulls were still there so we are assuming that a flyby did not occur. Also
mixed in were at least 2 adult Little Gulls.

Regards
Marcie Jacklin
