Dear Ontbirders, Yesterday, January 6th at 2:30 pm, one Tufted Titmouse was observed along the Nith River in Piper's Glen Park. Other species observed in the vicinity were Golden-crowned Kinglet, Black-capped Chickadee, Slate-coloured Junco, American Tree Sparrow, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Downy Woodpecker, Hairy Woodpecker, and Brown Creeper. To get there from Highway 401, take the Cedar Creek cutoff and travel west on Cedar Creek Road (Reg Rd. 97). Turn south onto Northhumberland St. and then west onto Nith River Way. Pass through one stop sign, and go down the hill and after Seyler St. turn right into the Park.
