There were bluebirds briefly near the road in the valley at Thirty Rd in
Lincoln today until they were chased off by a mockingbird. I have seen them
other years and they appear to be feeding on sumac berries or looking for water
in the creek. For you winter listers they could be anywhere up and down the
valley so circle the block between Durham Road, King St and Greenlane. As an
after thought there are also Coopers, sharpshinned and red tailed hawks about
the neighbourhood as well as some white crowned sparrows .

Directions

QEW towards Niagara. Exit (64) at Bartlett in Grimsby , turn left to Durham
Road, turn right just past Westbrook Greenhouses and left again at King St.
(Reg. Rd; 81). The valley is just past Jerry's Autobody on the left. Thirty
Road is the first road on the left just past the valley.
