The Ontario Bird Records Committee has received many reports this year
that are in the process of being reviewed so that they can be published
in the OBRC Annual Report this summer in Ontario Birds. Many sightings
are well documented including the Black-whistling Whistling-Duck from
Prince Edward County, Chuck-Will's-Widow from the Carden Alvar,
Scissor-tailed Flycatcher from Luther Marsh, Pacific Loons from Oshawa
and two White-faced Ibis (adult and juvenile) from Essex County last
May. There remain other OBRC reviewable birds that may be lacking
documentation.
It is never too late to submit a report to the OBRC. But if you would
like to see it reviewed and published in the coming Annual Report now is
the time to submit any outstanding reports.
