Pleasant View Mobil Home Park, Hwy 35, ( 5 km North West) Lindsay

About 5.30 pm yesterday as i worked in the office, watching at times the bird feeder about 6' outside the window. The first notice of a problem was a bang as another bird flew in to the window. As I quickly recovered and check outside to see what kind of bird had the accident but to also see if it was ok. I got a big surprise. Not three feet from the door on the slab was a Red Pole, in the left claws of a Female Peregrine.

The lesson learned is never look out side without your camera in hand when investigating a bird strike. It is not every day that one gets to stand so close to Pergrine, if even for a nano second.
