Ken Burrell & Len Mannings recent posts about Dickcissels in Wheatley motivated me to go out and check them out myself. They were quite easy to find as they were singing loudly (along with Indigo Buntings) in the early morning sunlight. They were found next to the oil pumpjack in the field described below. Heading east on hwy. 3 from Wheatley, go about 2km. The field is pretty easy to pick out (its the only field that isn't a row crop) and is at the corner of hwy. 3 and Camper's Cover Road.
