A probable Glossy Ibis was found by Ben Di Labio and reported by Bruce Di Labio at 1:30 today. Bruce was observing the bird at the time he called it in.

The bird was on the floodplain of the Carp River. Exit from Highway #417 west of Ottawa on to Carp Road and go toward the village of Carp. The floodplain is visible on the right as you enter the village. The bird was being viewed on the east side of the floodplain from the area of the turnaround at the end of Rivington Street. Rivington Street is the first street on the right as you enter the village.
