Greetings:

Today at around 6 pm a Whimbrel was observed along the Lake Huron shoreline 6
km north of Port Elgin along with a Great egret.

Directions to Port Elgin. Drive north on Highway 21 through the town of Port
Elgin then turn left on Miramachi Road and continue driving approximately 6 km
to an Ohio goldenrod - Shrubby cinquefoil dominated meadow marsh on the Lake
Huron side of the road. The egret was wading among cattails.
