This morning, myself and 3 other members of the South Peel Naturalists Club
birded from Ward's Island to Centre Island. I am not going to say it is
really "birdy", but with good hard work we tallied 57 species including 17
species of warblers. Other sightings included Cooper's Hawk (1),
Sharp-shinned Hawk (4), Osprey (1), Chimney Swift (1), Canvasback (1),
Philadelphia Vireo (1), Yellow-bellied Flycatcher (1), many Least
Flycatchers, Eastern Wood Pewee (1), and a Great Egret.

Good birding,

Jim Watt
