Weather: Temps 14 - 16 C today with cloudy skies. Off-and-on rain turned more serious in the early afternoon, forcing down any migrating raptors. Winds again out of the northeast. Raptor Observations: A few migrants today between rain showers. Sharp-shinned Hawks, American Kestrels, and Northern Harriers once again dominated. Non-raptor Observations: Highlight today was a flock of nine Black Terns that came in from the east and then later left going back east with 21 Common Terns and one Bonaparte's Gull. Doesn't sound ideal, but I'm sure there will at least a few birds around after the last few days of migration.
