Weather: Warm temperatures today reached 29 C. Sunny skies for most of the day, and a few afternoon clouds. Winds started fairly strong out of the southwest at 15-20 km/hr but died down and gradually shifted to the west. Raptor Observations: A few raptors moved today. Mostly Sharp-shinned Hawks and the falcons. Non-raptor Observations: Today's highlights included 1430 Purple Martins moving west (most in the first 3 hours) and a hatch year Red-headed Woodpecker that flew from far north of the tower right overhead.
