Hello Ontbirders,

Happy Thanksgiving!

On the advice of Ellen Smout, I visited the flooded field in Comber in the
evening and was rewarded with excellent views of shorebirds including 7
Hudsonian Godwits.

There seemed to be much more variety tonight than I had seen on Saturday
afternoon.

I took some pictures of these incredible shorebirds if anyone is interested:

Shorebirds seen tonight are basically the same list of birds seen in Ellen's
original posting (below). It seemed like there was a great drop in Golden
Plovers though.

Good birding!
Dwayne Murphy

Directions:
Go 1 km north of the intersection of County Rd 42 and Comber side road. Look on
the East side of the road just past the Agris Co-op plant.
