A Purple Gallinule was photographed last Sunday off the Bridle Trail
in Hedrie Valley at the Royal Botanical Gardens. The bird was not
identified until today.  There have been NO reports since Sunday.

Directions: Hendrie Valley can be accessed from RBG parking lots off
Plains Road in Burlington opposite RBC headwaters (follow signs to RBG
from the Highway 6 North exit off Highway 403.  The bird appears to
have been off trails in valley upstream on Grindstone Creek on RBG
side of creek
