Hey Birders,

Yesterday I was working in the Kincardine area and saw an early first-winter
Glaucous Gull at the Armow landfill. Other interesting birds in the area
included;
Snow Goose - 1 white phase
American Golden-Plover - 16

On my way home, I made two stops, the first at Point Clark and the second at
Conestoga Reservoir. At Point Clark I observed the following waterbirds;
Red-throated Loon - 4
Red-necked Grebe - 1
Horned Grebe - 5
White-winged Scoter - 3
Black Scoter - 1

At Conestoga Reservoir I observed the following;
Common Loon - 1
Cackling Goose - 1
Long-tailed Duck - 3
Horned Grebe - 7

Armow Landfill - take Hwy 9 west/north, turn north onto Sideroad 15N (first
road west of Bervie). The landfill is on Sideroad 15, just south of the village
of Armow.
Point Clark - take Hwy. 86 NW from Lucknow, take this road to the end to the
lake and follow signs to the Point Clark Lighthouse.

Good Birding!
