A total of 46 species were seen or heard  from the hawkwatch platform.

Migrating hawks:
Turkey Vulture- 190
Bald Eagle- 1
Sharp-shinned Hawk- 12
Coopers Hawk- 1
Red-tailed Hawk- 1
American Kestrel- 1

Total- 206

Other birds:Great Egret- 1,  Rusty Blackbird- 15, Fox Sparrow- 5,
and Common Gallinule- 2

Monarch Butterflies- 14

Visitors- 20

Weather- light winds from the east, switching to south-east
(There are north-west winds in the forcast for Tuesday and Thursday)

Directions: Exit from the 401 at Brock St. in Whitby, go south on Brock
St. to Victoria St. Go west on Victoria St. to Halls Road. Go south on
Halls Road to the second walkway going east to Cranberry Marsh.
