There was a single Lesser Black-backed Gull in with a couple of hundred Herring
Gulls at 'Lake Downie' in Stratford this morning. Lake Downie is the local name
for the new storm water pond on the south side of Lorne Avenue. From Ontario
Street (Hwy 7/8) head south on Romeo Street to Lorne Avenue. Turn right and
the storm water pond is on your left. The gulls seem to move back and forth
between the nearby dump and the storm water pond. Steve ThorpeStratford
