The two Cattle Egrets reported yesterday by Adam Timpf were observed
this morning at 8:20 am and were actively foraging along the edge of
Dedrick Creek in the pasture on the north side of 1st Concession.

A quick tour of Hastings Drive afterwards was fairly productive, the
highlight being 13 Little Gulls feeding just off shore with a large
group of Bonaparte's Gulls. A complete list of my sightings from
Hastings Drive is below.

Directions: The pastures in Dedrick Creek valley can be found on 1st
Concession Rd., 1 km east of Highway 59. Hastings Drive can be
accessed by driving south on Highway 59 across the Big Creek Marsh
causeway and turning right (west) at the Causeway Restaurant.
