I just finished watching a Purple Sandpiper west of the Lighthouse in Dick Bell Park. The sandpiper flew in off the Ottawa River at 1:00pm, did a fly by along the shores of Andrew Hayden Park, returning to the north side of the breaker wall, about 200 meters west of the lighthouse. It was still there when I left after 2:00pm today.
