Hello Ontbirders,

This morning, my Dad, Bruce Di Labio and me went to see the hummingbird
reported in the Ottawa Citizen bird column. It is a Rufous Hummingbird and
has been present since late September. The property owners are happy to
have visitors (Dennis and Lorna Peterson). Please do not call or visit
before 10am.

They are located at 773 Sand Road. From Eaganville, take 41 S to 512.
Follow 512 until it takes a 90 degree turn left. Go straight onto Sand
Road. There place is about 4km up on the left.

The bird is a juvenile but we got good video and photos that confirm it is
Rufous, not Allens.

Good birding!

Jeff
