Hello,

I birded the Gatineau Park and Eardley area today. Saw one male Red
Crossbill on the Eardley-Masham Road, as it flew across the road.
Black-capped Chickadees were in fair numbers, feeding on the different cone
seeds. One group had a Red-breasted Nuthatch joined in with them. Saw three
single Ruffed Grouse on the roads, one on the Eardley-Masham Road and two on
Concession 6, must be a good year for them. Also seen were two Rough-legged
Hawks on the Steele Road, which follows the foot of the Gatineau Park to
Chemin Lac de Loupe.

Cheers,

Brian Young
