Salutations Ontbirders and Ontbirdettes,

This morning, leading into the early afternoon, I took a stroll on the Rail
trail and Bruce trail, from the Wentworth Street Entrance, east to the area
near Bernie Arbour Stadium.

There was a FOX SPARROW hanging out with some Juncos about 1 KM east of
Wentworth Street S. Look for some older looking towers with wires on them, then
look south up the escarpment, and about half way up is some fragmities. This is
where the sparrow was. It was quite actively kicking up food.

Also of note on my stroll was a male PURPLE FINCH. He was further east along
the trail at the top of a tree.

There was a nice mix of birds along this pathway as well. CAROLINA WREN,
NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD, and RED-BELLIED WOODPECKER all put in appearances.
