All winter birders,

Some of you, or most of you, will probably not remember. It was an honest
beginner's mistake I made a few years back about reporting a female
Rose-Breasted Grosbeak coming to a feeder in Port Burwell.

It turns out I knew there was a Rose-breasted Grosbeak coming to a feeder in
Port Burwell but I had the "Time Stamp" wrong. It wasn't then.... It is now.

It is a female Rose-breasted Grosbeak that is coming to the backyard feeder at
23 Brock St. in Port Burwell - the home of the Wylie's. They have seen it
there over the last two weeks and it seems to come between mid-morning and
mid-to-late in the afternoon. It was there today amongst many House Sparrows
and other birds, but it seems to stay on its own.

If you want to see it, there is some limited parking on the street, as the old
Memorial Park is across the road. Then you can walk along the short cedar
hedge or driveway to the ground level deck and watch from it. Please do not go
past the deck.

Port Burwell is at the Lake Erie end of Hwy #19 now called Planck Road south of
Tillsonburg.
