This afternoon (2:00 p.m.) at Bayfront Park in Hamilton were 4 Trumpeter Swans 
(2 adults and 2 immature) along the walkway (between 400 m and 800 m markers).  
Also near them were 2 White-winged Scoters.
Other species: American Robin, Greater Scaup, American Coot, Black Duck, Hooded 
Merganser, Common Merganser, Cooper's Hawk (on a tall antena in train yard).
 
At 4:00 p.m. at Whitby Harbour were 3 mature Trumpeter Swans.
Also seen: Red-Breasted Mergansers, Gadwalls, Great Black Back Gull.
 
Bayfront directions: From HWY 403, exit on to Main Street.  Turn left on Bay 
Street.  A few blocks farther is Bayfront Park; turn left, park, and walk the 
walkway along the train track.
 
Whitby Harbour: From HWY 401, once in Whitby, exit on Brock and head south.  
The harbour is one minute drive away, on your right.  Walk along the walkway 
for hundreds of birds.
