We found an early Yellow-bellied Sapsucker this afternoon on one of the walking trails in the Joshua Creek area of Oakville. Also a singing Eastern Meadowlark on 8th Line just north of Derry Road.
Directions: Dundas Street to Meadowridge Drive (just west of 9th Line). Left on Arrowhead Rd then right on Gamble. At the end of Gamble, turn right on Rock Point Dr. The trail runs from the turning circle (NOTE No parking) and bird was just east of the storm water pond.
