Hi fellow birders: Yesterday evening (March 21) I had a Fox Sparrow in my backyard in downtown Ottawa. I know there are going to be many early reports for many bird species this spring, but this is the earliest Fox Sparrow in the area for me by far. Good birding Peter Hall Directions: The bird was seen at the backyard feeder at 24 Wendover Avenue. Take Bank Street south from downtown Ottawa. Cross the Rideau Canal and continue to Chesley Street just before the Billings Bridge over the Rideau River.
