Ontbirds subscribers,
Chris Risley, Karl Konze and I just had a Common Raven at 12:30 flying around
and calling along the road (Crystal Beach Boulevard) in front of my house just
south of Thickson's Woods. It doesn't appear to be going very far.
The bird was coming from the east where it was likely around the Corbett Creek
Marsh.
To reach Thickson's Woods take Hwy 401 to Thickson Rd. S. (exit 412) and exit
and go south on Thickson Road to the cul-de-sac at its southern terminus (2
km). Park here and walk further south on Thickson Road right to the lake, where
you can walk east onto the private road that borders the lake. The Common Raven
was flying along this road.
