The phalarope at Col. Sam just departed heading east along the lakefront - it may be worth checking any waterfront parks further along. The bird was quite obliging until it was flushed by nearby swimming dogs and was well photographed - photos will be posted to my flickr later this afternoon ( www.flickr.com/photos/osteopteryx/).
