Don Barnett and I spent 9 hours & 40 minutes today starting at 5:20 am and had one flock of 9 Whimbrels (at 5:57 am). Other migrant shorebird consisted of one flock of 35 Dunlin, one flock of unid. peeps (by Brain Daly) and one Least Sandpiper. In we had 21 Common Loons. I manage to slip away to catch a short glimpse of Yellow- breasted Chat reported earlier today. The watch continues until 30 May. The big movements usually occur from 23-25 May. Based on past history tomorrow may be another slow day but thing should really pick on tuesday.

Location: The park is located at the end of Kipling and south of Lakeshore Boulevard. The parking lot is located at the end of Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive. If that parking lot is full, free parking is allowed on 13th street which runs along the east side of the park.
