Nighthawks are still drifting through Scugog Twp in small numbers as are
Blackpoll Warblers.

Today at Thickson Woods/Meadow I had an adult male Peregrine Falcon and a very
late Hermit Thrush. At Oshawa Second Marsh I had a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher
and at Darlington Beach I had 14 Whimbrel and one Ruddy Turnstone.

Oshawa Second Marsh is found by exiting 401 at exit 419 and going south on
Farewell to Wentworth then east to GM Plant. To reach Darlington Beach - from
GM plant follow trail along east side of Oshawa Second Marsh south to the lake
and walk east to beach at Darlingotn Park. Thickson's Woods/Meadow is at the
foot of Thickson Road in Whitby.
