Hi Folks,
I have been very surprised today by the numbers of Canada Geese around the
Townsend Sewage Lagoons. Groups of 10 to 50 birds are flying out from the
ponds and returning later. When you put the groups together you have a flock
of a couple of hundred birds. I am assuming that the freshly planted fields
are the attraction but find it unusual that the Geese are grouped in the
numbers they are.
