Ontbirders,

After spending a few hours chasing after the Frigatebird, Mary and I spent some
time in the park to relax a bit. I had a [the?] male Yellow-throated Warbler
singing behind the visitor's centre, on Tuliptree Trail. We watched the bird
for a bit and saw it catch a caterpillar. It quickly scissored it in two,
stuffed the bits in it's bill and flew off to the east, presumably to feed
nestlings / fledglings.

I figured that this pair was still about, although I hadn't heard much of them
of late. I would think that someone local is making an effort to document what
would be a new breeding record for the province, as the evidence is pretty good
that these birds have nested successfully.

Cheers,
