Good Evening Birders!

Just before 9pm this evening, I found 4 American White Pelicans in the
marsh at Holiday Beach Conservation Area.  The birds were due west of the
hawk tower.


Also of note were large numbers of Great Egrets (over 155) coming in to
roost.

Directions:


>From Windsor

Take Howard Ave (County Rd 9) South to its end approximately 21 km.

Turn right (West) on County Rd 20, go 2.6 km.  Turn left (South) on County
Rd 50, go 2 km. As you go around the curve, you will see the entrance to
Holiday Beach on the South side.



>From the 401
Take the 401 to its western end and exit at Howard Ave, turn left (South)
on Howard (County Rd 9), go to its end, approximately 21 km. Turn right
(West) on County Rd 20, go 2.6 km. Turn left (South) on County Rd 50, go 2
km. As you round the curve, you will see the entrance.
