Terry Sprague has brought to my attention a very big omission in my recent Kingston Area report: A hatch-year FRANKLIN'S GULL photographed near Aldolphuston on Sep 5. The photograph was reviewed by several experienced birders (but not me personally). No further reports of this bird have been made to me and I'm not sure anyone has gone searching for it. I don't have anymore details on this observation.
