Hello birders: A juvenile Red Knot highlighted a good assortment of shorebirds at Presqu'ile early this afternoon that also included a bright juvenile Stilt Sandpiper.
For those wishing to attend the Presqu'ile OFO outing tomorrow (Sunday), be advised that our starting point at the lighthouse parking lot is a 10-15 minute drive past the park entrance where day passes can be purchased for $10.75. As the outuing begins at 8am at the lighthouse parking lot and the park entrance main gate is not staffed until 8am, exact change will be needed to obtain a day pass. Birding has been very good at Presqu'ile in recent days and I am very optimistic about tomorrow.
