Greetings: As of 1:30 pm I saw many juvenile moorhen, wood ducks, mallard, Blue
winged teal
as well as the two Mute swan families. There was also many Marsh Wren who were
not doing the usual trill but were "chitting" instead.
I also say a Sora from the south side of the south cell between the Osprey nest
and the eastern point of the south cell. Walking
bewteen the two cells I could hear several Virginia Rail.
I also saw what could prove to be an addition to the mammal life list of the
wetland. I will discuss this with the Waste Water Manager before posting
this addition.
The wetland is located 7.2 kilomtres south of the 401, exit 509 south and
follow the road right thorugh Brighton.. The wetland is on the south sideof
county road 64 as you leave Brighton. Maureen
