This afternoon at Reesor pond : 1 juvenile Black-bellied Plover- I assume it's 
the same
bird that has stayed 14 days - also one Snow Goose found on 09.10.12 by Ted and 
Gail
George stayed 4 days : [might still be around] - also 13 Cackling Geese showed 
up yes-
terday as a tight-knit unit - Greater Yellowlegs have been consistent visitors 
while Pied-
billed Grebes [maximum 7] continue to be seen after more than a month - 2 were 
there
today - up to 110 Killdeers in a flock were counted this week along with an 
overflight of
108 Common Crows - this last week also saw a migration of Yellow-rumped 
Warblers.
A pair of Trumpeter Swans - the female has yellow webs and legs - are visitors 
- one
juvenile showed on 12.10.12. Green-winged Teal are common. Friday 12.10.12 - saw
the first Bufflehead of the season - a female.

   Reesor Pond lies just North of Hwy 407 on Reesor Road in Markham. Cheers - S
