Subject: [Ontbirds] Purple Sandpipers - Darlington Beach - Oshawa

Dan Kaczynski just called and asked me to post.

He has 2 Purple Sandpipers and Dunlin on the Darlington Barrier Beach.

The birds were actively feeding in the algae covered rocks between
Darlington Park and Second Marsh.

Directions:

Directions: From the west, exit 401 at Harmony Road and proceed south on
Farewell to Colonel Sam Drive.

>From the east, there is a detour due to work on the Harmony Bridge over the
401.

You will need to exit at Ritson Road and go south on Ritson to Wentworth and
left on Wentworth.

Wentworth turns into Colonel Sam as it crosses Farewell.

Follow Colonel Sam up to the GM parking lot and walk south to the beach.
