Fred Helleiner, Peter Hogenbirk, Clayton Vardy and I saw one Purple Sandp., one
White-rumped Sandp. and one Sanderling at Gull Island today. Also present were
two Snowy Owls (one carrying a very decayed cormorant carcass), several Snow
Buntings, a Northern Harrier and a Peregrine Falcon.

Just outside the Park at Huff and Hwy, west of Brighton were 17 Bohemian
Waxwings.

The long staying Eurasian Wigeon at Thickson Point, Whitby showed well today
and 38 Bohemians (waxwings, not Europeans) greeted me when I returned home.

Presqu'ile is at the foot of Hwy 30 in Brighton. The Wigeon is at the foot of
Thickson Rd in Whitby - follow Transcanada Trail west to overlook the lake.
