The now dead Western Tanager at Durham Court Park in Oshawa was pointed out to me this morning by another birder. It was lying on the ground near the east boundary of the park. Hopefully this will save someone a drive. It's unfortunate that so many vagrants end up this way.
In living bird news, the male and female Harlequin Ducks are still at Whitby Psychiatric Hospital and the long-staying Eurasian Wigeon remains at Thickson Point. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
