Stopped at Princess Point (Cootes Paradise, Hamilton) late this afternoon and spotted (besides the usual suspects) a pair of immature Bald Eagles flying together over Cootes, engaged in their aggressive 'dominance' flight, diving on each other repeatedly as they flew off towards the west-southwest. Judging by their molt, they were possibly 3rd or 4th year birds.
Besides that, there was a single adult Great Black-backed Gull on the ice. Good birding - cheers! -- Yves Scholten, B.Sc.
