The Townsend's solitaire was seen this morning at 11:30 am. It was seen in the trees in the valley across from 8712 Langstaff road. Also present were 2 Evening grosbeaks and a Red-bellied woodpecker.
Directions Langstaff road is the third road east of Newtonville road/Kendal village. From 401 exit at Newtonville road and go north to where it ends at Ganaraska/ Kirby rd. Turn right/ east and turn left (north) on Langstaff. Note Langstaff only goes north, the opposite south road is named Shiloh Road.
