While birding the peninsula with my wife yesterday 3 Mar we located a Great Gray Owl. We watched the bird foe approx. 15 mins. and took some pictures. The bird was located on Clarkes Rd. approx. 2 miles west of Hwy #6. It was on the north side of the road in a forested area. We saw the bird at approx. 2:30pm. I have also heard from two friends that they saw two Owls in the same location.
