We were in the area, so stopped by Paleta Park for a brief visit this
afternoon. Aside from large numbers of Red-breasted Merg's and Buffleheads,
plus a scattering of other ducks, the highlights were a Carolina Wren singing
briefly, and what appeared to be a Grey-cheeked Thrush skulking along the creek.
Paleta is on the Lake Shore, a few blocks W of Appleby Rd.
