This morning Rory MacKay and I had a male Cerulean Warbler in Traverse Woods
and a male Golden-winged Warbler near the Lighthouse at the tip of Long
Point in Prince Edward County. The woods were alive with birds and in four
hours we tallied 22 species of warblers including 6 Canadas and numerous
Northern Parulas, Bay-breasteds, Tennessees, and Cape Mays. Also seen were
6 Orchard Orioles and many Scarlet Tanagers and Baltimore Orioles, with a
few Indigo Buntings.

Long Point in Prince Edward County lies in the southeast corner of the
county and can be reached by driving south from Picton to Long Point Road.

Good birding!
